EYARC board and staff would like
to thank Melanie Hailstone; for all that she has done to make
our organization develop into a successful diversified
recreation commission, meeting the needs of all ages.
As our previous director for EYARC she has brought many
exciting programs to the area and built a reputation of
integrity, to all that have known her. One of her great
successes has been to bring before and after, school-age child
programs to our elementary schools and increase our pre-school
enrollment. Melanie's zeal and enthusiasm has been an
inspiration to all. We wish Melanie and her husband Rob, the
best of luck as they start their new life in Bushkill, Pa. |
The Board of EYARC has adopted the following mission statement as the basis
for their programming:
Mission Statement
The Eastern York Area Recreation Commission
exists to offer a wide variety of recreational and educational opportunities
and services to the citizens of Eastern York County. Programs are designed
to promote physical, intellectual and emotional well-being of the
participant thereby contributing to quality of life.
